Using VMware vCenter Converter and getting a SQL_CANTOPEN or similar error? Make sure your backup (
Carbonite in my case) is disabled else it may try to backup the database for the converter and lock the files from being written to. Anyone know where VMware keeps this database?

Got this error trying to copy a physical machine .it turn out to be the Anti-virus database running on the physical PC.
close the anti-virus .no more errors.
Thank you! in my case I disabled Crashplan which I guess was causing the same issue (locked file).
