Look no
more, as a simple driver option in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf needs to be added to the Device Section: Option “AddARGBGLXVisuals” “True”
Now your applications running in VMware Unity mode won’t jump all over the place! The option doesn’t appear to be needed for single monitor setups.
